Movietech add Cooke Panchro/i Classic Primes to lens inventory
Movietech has been steadily investing throughout the past year to create a newly updated product catalogue that incorporates the latest advances in technology, a selection of updated modern classics along with a host of Cinematographer favourites.
The addition of the Panchro/i Classic Primes to the Company’s rental stock extends the considerable choice of Cooke lenses available at the Movietech Pinewood Studios base.

Precision engineered to reflect the look and feel of the renowned original Panchros, the updated models feature Cooke’s superior control over flare, distortion and spherical aberration with the added advantage of modern glass and enhanced compatibility with the latest camera systems.
Commenting on the recent intake of lenses, Movietech Chairman John Buckley says “For us to effectively support Cinematographers and crews shooting all formats on all types of productions, it is essential that we maintain the widest possible equipment choice. We are constantly making investment right across our product ranges; these new Cooke Panchros are a fantastic addition to our lens offering”.
With high quality housings complete with all the features of the vintage classic the new Pachro/i family is available in a choice of focal lengths; 18, 25, 32, 40, 50, 75, 100, 152mm, the lenses incorporate Cooke’s i Technology which allows accurate, digital recording of lens data for every frame whether shooting film and digital.
The full suite of Cook Panchro/i Classic Prime lenses is available now from Movietech Pinewood Studios and Pinewood Wales bases.
