To all our customers

To help battle the spread of the COVID-19 virus Movietech implemented several initiatives at the beginning of March to help ensure the safety and well being of our team members and customers, our families and friends.  No members of the Movietech team have, as yet, shown any symptoms and we’d like to keep it that way.

We all need to make changes to lower the risk of transmission of the virus. We are continually following all UK Government and NHS advice on how we can help contain the virus and have taken steps to limiting the spread, including:

We encourage good hygiene habits such as washing hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, limiting touching our face and not sharing drinks and food (or anything else).

All Movietech employees who can work remotely are doing so. We have reduced onsite employees to the minimum number necessary for operations.

We practice social distancing. This means we do not shake hands and we limit our proximity with clients and co-workers.

We adhere to the recommended social distance ruling of 2 metres.

We have a daily schedule to disinfect all public surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, taps as well as all returned equipment including cases, latches, magliners and camera handles.

We have hand sanitizer available for your use, although we do encourage following the rigorous hand-washing protocols posted in our bathrooms.

We are confident in the steps we have taken and the practices we have in place to help ensure the safety of our people, premises and rental equipment.

We love our film community and we want everyone to continue to remain healthy, safe and productive. We will continue to monitor the situation, to follow all available guidance and adapt to changes.

We thank you for your continued support. Look out for each other.
